Computacenter in Hatfield is seeking a proactive GTS Inventory Planner to join our Inventory Planning team (3 days a week). You will review demand and stock positions, identify risks early, and collaborate with sales, finance and operations to ensure commercially sound decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning, supply chain or demand planning.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Good Excel skills and comfortable with large data sets.
• Ability to identify risks and recommend practical actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory positions with focus on reducing risk, aged stock and excess inventory.
• Review forecasts, customer requirements and stock levels to support right supply decisions.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks and actions needed.
• Produce and review inventory reports to support decision-making.
• Challenge demand where needed to avoid unnecessary stock build.
• Support actions to protect working capital while maintaining service levels.
• Monitor product transitions, end-of-life activity and demand changes.
• Escalate risks clearly and follow through on agreed actions.
• Collaborate with account teams, sales, finance and operations.
• Support improvements in reporting, process and inventory governance.
