Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a data-driven analyst to collaborate with operational teams and take ownership of high-quality data for reporting and decision-making. You will work with product teams to optimise systems and support digital training initiatives.

The role requires practical knowledge of BI tools, Excel, SQL, and Google Workspace, with a focus on improving service efficiency and real-time data availability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with operational management or an analytical role supporting business change.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills to explain complex data analysis and support non-technical users.
• Positive, proactive, forward-thinking attitude with a pragmatic approach to user and environmental needs.
• A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Practical understanding of Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure data and reporting are effectively used to enhance service efficiency and performance.
• Take ownership of operational data, maintaining it to the highest standard of accuracy, currency, and real-time availability.
• Leverage the latest technology and collaborate with our product departments to optimise efficiency and drive improvements through smarter use of existing systems or innovative application of new technology.
• Support the creation and delivery of our digital training strategy and deliver operational end-user training.
• Take guidance from the Digital Transformation Manager, Contract Managers, and the central data analysis team to deliver a planned data-driven approach to service management.
• Collaborate with the national transformation team to align with the digital transformation strategy for treatment.
• Ensure that operational front-line managers can confidently use Management Information for better business decisions by capturing requirements for reporting and system changes and implementing these through relevant channels
• Support the creation and deliver product roadmaps with the support of the central product teams.
