Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Business Performance Specialist in Sheffield with hybrid working arrangements. You will gather requirements, cleanse large datasets, and develop analytical dashboards to support senior management and contract projects.

The role requires strong SQL and Excel skills, plus knowledge of PowerBI; GIS is a plus. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and drive continuous improvements across business processes.

Qualifications

: Proficient in SQL and Excel.
: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
: Experience in business analysis; ability to communicate to non-technical audiences.
: Knowledge of PowerBI; GIS is a plus.
: Report writing experience using PowerBI or Excel.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for analysis.
Collect and cleanse large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Develop, generate and present reports to senior management, operations, technical and support teams and external clients.
Work on high profile projects on multi-million pound contracts exposing you to senior management.
Analyze data from GPS, Finance, HR, QHSE and other data sources and present insights.
