Zusammenfassung

Travelers is seeking an experienced Casualty Underwriting Specialist to join our Underwriting Office. You will shape long-term strategies, analyze portfolios with BI/Actuarial data, and translate insights into actionable underwriting guidance.

You will own underwriting guides, train underwriters, handle referrals, and support projects while staying current on regulatory changes across markets. Hybrid work is allowed three days in-office, two at home.

Qualifikationen

• ACII or equivalent underwriting qualification is preferred.
• Experience in Property and Casualty underwriting required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory rules and market practices.

Aufgaben

• Develop and monitor underwriting strategies aligned with market conditions and BI insights.
• Analyse portfolios using MI/BI data and acturial insights from multiple sources.
• Identify trends in performance, pricing, and rate adequacy.
• Maintain and update underwriting guides and train underwriters.
• Collaborate with product development and portfolio teams on guidance and criteria.
• Prepare reports for reviews and support regulatory returns and product appetite.
