Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Proactive Performance Analyst for our Durrington office in West Sussex. The role is hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with an emphasis on analysing data trends to prevent faults and inform proactive interventions.

You will work with Assets, Engineers and external partners to interpret data, identify risks, and drive improvements in wastewater and water asset performance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret trends and data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain findings clearly.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and contribute proactively.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data, trends and information from a range of systems to identify trends, risks and emerging performance issues on assets
• Diagnose potential wastewater and water asset problems and recommend appropriate preventative or corrective actions.
• Raising, and tracking remedial work to ensure timely intervention takes place.
• Making performance data and insight available to internal teams, including Assets, Catchment Inspectors, County Sewerage Engineers, operational teams and external partners.
• Supporting the development of business cases for strategic investment in systems, processes and proactive interventions.
