Job summary

M&G is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (Data) to lead end-to-end data initiatives across Enterprise Data. You will unite business, technology and delivery teams to shape outcomes, plan work, manage dependencies and deliver secure, governed data solutions, ensuring a smooth transition to production.

You will collaborate with data engineering, architecture, testing, security and finance, driving pace and discipline while upholding care and integrity in delivery across Azure and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Strong technical delivery capability in complex data, cloud or platform environments.
• Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (discovery through support).
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods.
• Knowledge of data delivery concepts: ingestion, ETL/ELT, modelling, governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for data initiatives across Enterprise Data.
• Create and maintain integrated delivery plans with milestones, risks and decisions.
• Establish governance: reporting, quality gates, change control and escalation routes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, engineers and security to deliver outcomes.
• Manage delivery across cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks) and ensure readiness for production.
