Job summary

M&G is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (Data) to lead end-to-end delivery of data initiatives across Enterprise Data. You will coordinate business, technology and delivery teams to shape outcomes and plan work across cloud data platforms, ensuring secure, well-governed data solutions.

You will work with data engineering, architecture, testing, security, finance, operations, product and business stakeholders to deliver changes with pace, discipline and care.

Qualifications

• Strong delivery capability in complex data/cloud environments.
• Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle across stages.
• Awareness of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methods.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, integration, ETL/ELT and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for data initiatives from inception to handover.
• Create integrated delivery plans with milestones, risks and decisions.
• Establish delivery governance with reporting and change control.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers and security.
• Support delivery across Azure and Databricks platforms.
• Manage delivery finances, forecasts and resources.
• Define acceptance criteria and operational readiness for data products.
• Ensure data protection, access control and lineage considerations.
• Lead supplier and third-party delivery, including SLAs and SoWs.
• Maintain clear communication with senior stakeholders and control functions.
• Identify risks early and propose concrete mitigation options.
• Ensure smooth transition into BAU with runbooks and ownership.
