Job summary

M&G is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (Data) to lead end-to-end data initiatives across Enterprise Data. You will align business, technology and delivery teams to shape outcomes, plan work, manage dependencies and ensure secure, well-governed data solutions.

The role interfaces with Azure, Databricks, security, finance and operations. The position involves delivering data platforms and data products with pace, discipline and care, guiding production handover and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end data delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and data governance.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for data initiatives, from inception to production and handover.
• Create and maintain integrated delivery plans with scope, milestones, risks and decisions.
• Establish clear delivery governance, quality gates, change control, RAID, and escalation routes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business leads, architects, engineers, testers, security, risk, finance and operations to deliver outcomes.
• Support delivery across cloud data platforms, ensuring requirements and outcomes are traceable.
