Job summary

Experian is seeking a Data Analyst in our Nottingham office to manage delivery of high-quality data solutions that support client, operational and business objectives. You will work within the Data Delivery team, combining technical capability with stakeholder engagement to ensure data products are delivered accurately and on time.

You will analyse, transform, and validate complex datasets using SQL or SAS, with Python/R/VBA as desirable adds.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and/or SAS programming skills.
• Experience with complex datasets and data transformation processes.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience investigating and resolving data-related issues.
• Desirable: Python, R, VBA, client-facing data solutions, governance knowledge, mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver data extracts, reports, and analytical outputs to agreed quality, scope, and timelines.
• Use SQL, SAS, and other analytical tools to interrogate, manipulate, and validate datasets.
• Provide robust validation and quality assurance for all deliverables.
• Manage client expectations and address queries, issues, and risks.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team capability building.
