Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a Senior Analyst who can deliver data-led solutions within consulting projects. You’ll translate business needs into practical outputs, work with structured datasets, and communicate insights clearly, supported by problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.

You’ll contribute to data assurance, governance, and analytics, with skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms, while engaging with senior managers and stakeholders across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience with data through work, internship, placement or academic projects.
• Ability to work with structured datasets and support data discovery, profiling and evidence collection.
• Foundational understanding of data quality dimensions (completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness).
• Proficiency with Excel and interest in SQL, Python, cloud data platforms and analytics/visualisation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and the ability to document work clearly.
