Job summary

SSE plc seeks a Technical Business Analyst to drive data product delivery within the Data & Analytics function. You’ll translate business needs into actionable requirements and work with Data Engineering, Reporting and Automation teams to deliver value.

You will partner with the Data Product Manager, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure end-to-end delivery of data solutions that support regulatory and business outcomes. A hybrid pattern and flexible location are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital or data-focused initiatives in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of data concepts, data flows and data requirements.
• Experience with modern data platforms in an enterprise setting.
• Exposure to Power BI or Power Platform to engage with technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document requirements for data initiatives aligned to priorities.
• Act as interface between business users and delivery teams.
• Support full delivery lifecycle of data products from discovery to sign-off.
• Investigate source systems and data attributes to inform solution design.
• Support demand intake and prioritisation with Data Product Manager.
