Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Services & Compliance Manager in London to lead engineering operations for a critical environment data centre. The role requires hands-on management of HV/LV electrical systems, DRUPS, BMS, and energy efficiency initiatives, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor the engineering team, manage specialist subcontractors, and coordinate with clients to ensure 24/7 uptime and service quality within CBRE CERMTM frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
• Nationally recognised electrical qualification to at least HND standard or 10 years' relevant experience with ONC/C&G.
• Previous appointment as HV/LV Authorised Person (AP) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities for critical infrastructure, including HV/LV systems, DRUPS, BMS, and energy management.
• Act as Senior Authorised Person for HV electrical systems and oversee third-party contractor activities.
• Drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with CBRE CERMTM procedures.
• Develop and mentor the engineering team; produce concise technical reports and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with client and account manager to deliver continuous uptime and reliability for data centre operations.
