Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to provide technical assistance and 24/7 support for our London-based data centres, including Docklands and Croydon. You will install racks, housing, and network equipment, and manage cabling, power, and hardware components.

Role requires strong computer engineering and cabling knowledge, plus experience with HP, Cisco, Dell, Arista gear. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a 12-hour shift pattern and 8-hour split

The Data Centre engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and overall support to our customers providing 24/7 cover through a 12-hour shift pattern within the data Centre and 8 hour split shift at head office. Business hours only (07:00 to 19:00) Monday to Friday.## ## The Data Centre Engineer will also be responsible for the installation of racks, housing, network and computer equipment. Each Data Centre Engineer is also responsible for managing and implementing installations as required, including shelves, power strips, rails, cable management and customer IT equipment.
