Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to join a prestigious client data centre in Farnborough. The role focuses on delivering IMACD services, from patching and fault-finding to large upgrades, with 24x7x365 shift patterns and services reported to the Service Delivery Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the DCM, DCS and SDM to provide excellent client service and ensure seamless operations at the data centre in Farnborough.

Qualifications

• Sound Knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies & Networking Concepts.
• Competent in MS Office and Helpdesk/Service Delivery Applications.
• A reliable individual.
• The ability to work under pressure.

• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.

Working within a prestigious client data centre, the position is very customer orientated and requires a strong focus on customer requirements.

As our Data Centre Engineer, you will deliver IMACD Services from small alterations such as patching and fault finding through to large and involved upgrades such as decommissioning and recommissioning servers.

Data Centre Engineers work on shifts that contribute towards providing support services 24x7x365 and report to the local Service Delivery Manager.

This role will require working from a prestigiousfinancial client's Data Centre in Farnborough.
