Job summary

TavasTechs is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to drive the mechanical, electrical and public health packages on large-scale data centre developments across Europe, including the UK. The role is based in Cardiff with Europe travel.

You will lead delivery from pre-construction to handover, coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with European standards and health & safety requirements. A relevant engineering degree and data centre experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience managing MEP packages on large-scale construction/mission-critical projects.
• Data centre experience preferred (hyperscale or colocation).
• Knowledge of power distribution, cooling, BMS, fire protection and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of MEP packages on data centre projects across Europe.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, BMS, fire protection and specialist systems contractors.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against programme, budget, quality and safety.
• Review docs and ensure coordinated designs before installation.
• Oversee commissioning, testing and handover processes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and report to senior stakeholders.
• Chair coordination meetings and manage change control.
