Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd invites a Mechanical Lead to drive the delivery of mechanical systems for our data centre projects across Europe. The role is based in Dublin with travel to various sites, reporting to the MEP Lead and partnering with the engineering management team.

You will lead technical and managerial activities, ensuring HVAC, utilities and process installations meet programme, budget, quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Experience leading mechanical delivery on Tier 1 or equivalent projects
• CSCS or equivalent health and safety training
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards
• Experience with commissioning, validation and system turnover

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical function and oversee delivery of all systems including HVAC, utilities, process piping and specialist systems
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme, cost, safety and quality requirements
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Develop and implement strategies for execution planning, resource allocation and performance management
• Review and approve design documents, technical submittals and material selections
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, design standards and applicable regulations (GMP, ISO, ASHRAE, CIBSE)
• Oversee FATs, MEP Construction, SATs, commissioning and system turnover for mechanical scope
• Support validation and handover activities with accurate documentation and traceability
