Job summary

Copius Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead on major data centre construction projects across Europe. You will manage installation teams, subcontractors and complex mechanical packages to meet safety, quality and programme requirements.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, QA/QC, HSE and commissioning teams to drive delivery through testing, commissioning and handover, while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in mechanical construction.
• Experience as Mechanical Site Manager or supervisor.
• Experience on data centre or major construction projects.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multi-discipline interfaces.
• Strong safety, quality and commissioning knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced project environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily mechanical construction activities on site.
• Lead mechanical supervisors, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Coordinate HVAC, piping, plantroom and associated mechanical systems.
• Monitor labour, productivity and progress against the programme.
• Prepare and manage short-term look-ahead plans and work fronts.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications, method statements and project standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, BIM and engineering teams to resolve clashes.
• Manage subcontractor performance, manpower and programme delivery.
• Support inspections, ITPs, pressure testing, flushing and snagging.
• Work with commissioning to achieve mechanical completion and handover.
• Ensure HSE compliance and promote safety culture.
• Attend coordination, progress and client meetings.
