Job summary

Londinium Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager for data centres across London and the M25. You will oversee multiple live projects from design through to handover, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver safely, on time and on budget.

The role demands strong mechanical project delivery, experience with data centres, robust commercial awareness and leadership to manage variations and risks.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple mechanical projects in data centres or similar complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and CDM regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple packages and variations while protecting margins.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple mechanical projects and smaller works packages concurrently.
• Taking projects from pre-construction and design through to commissioning and handover.
• Managing variations, delays, programme impacts and commercial risks.
• Working with QS/Commercial teams to protect project margins.
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and wider project teams.
• Developing and maintaining project programmes.
• Chairing client and project meetings.
• Managing RFIs, TQs and technical submissions.
• Identifying and mitigating design, delivery and commercial risks.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Ensuring CDM, HSEQ and project governance compliance.
• Supporting and developing members of the project team.
• Identifying opportunities for additional works and improving profitability.
