Job summary

Construct Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager for the Data Centre environment in London. The role focuses on managing multiple mechanical projects and smaller works within live data centre settings, with site-based work around the City of London.

You will sustain client relationships, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and drive projects from design through to commissioning and handover while maintaining governance and commercial discipline.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical contracts management experience within building/construction.
• Experience in data centres or critical live environments.
• Proven track record delivering multiple projects and packages concurrently.
• End-to-end delivery from design to handover.
• Strong commercial awareness including variations and programme impacts.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple mechanical projects and small works across the data centre portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with clients and act as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinate with internal design, estimating and commercial teams and external consultants/subcontractors.
• Manage project programmes, milestones and risks; chair project meetings.
• Oversee commercial aspects including variations, delays and contractual risks with QS/Commercial teams.
• Lead by example on HSEQ and project governance.
