Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Centre Technician (LVAP) in Slough to support building plant, equipment and systems, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor.

You will handle control of planned and reactive maintenance and liaise with client personnel to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence. The role requires LVAP status or progression toward it, a strong emphasis on health and safety, and the ability to work within time-constrained site requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in real time incident / fault management in a business-critical environment.
• Sound understanding of health and safety obligations for maintenance activities.
• LV Authorised Person or working towards this certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance on building plant, equipment and systems to meet service levels.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
• Manage Permit to Work controls, SOPs and EOPs in line with company policies.
• Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems per L8 standards.
• Support CBRE and client teams, ensuring safe, high-quality work on site.
