Job summary

CBRE is seeking a DC Shift Technician in Longcross to provide round-the-clock engineering support for Client Data Centres. You will coordinate the operations team, manage permits, and ensure safety, QA, and compliance across HV/LV systems, with oversight from Building Supervisor and Technical Manager.

The role demands proactive leadership and rigorous adherence to procedures. The position entails out-of-hours responsibility, coordination of SSPs, and maintaining high uptime while managing risk

Responsibilities

• Provide sickness and holiday cover for shift team members.
• Manage and control the Permit systems and safe systems of work.
• Monitor the PPM system and update plant records.
• Act as first point of escalation during your shift.
• Ensure health and safety legislation is carried out on site.
• Oversee inspection logs for access and lifting equipment for QA.
