Job summary

NET Recruit partners with a growing engineering organisation to recruit a Data Centre Sales Engineer. The role combines technical insight with commercial drive to win new business in HVAC, process cooling and temperature control solutions for data centres.

You will develop sales strategies, build a robust CRM pipeline, present tailored proposals, and travel to customer sites as required. A engineering background and strong relationship skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, Business Development, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Engineering qualification or relevant practical engineering experience is advantageous.
• Experience with process chillers, temperature control systems, HVAC equipment or similar technologies.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders.
• Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new customers in HVAC, process cooling and data centre sectors.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and convert opportunities into sales.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions to customers.
• Travel to customer sites as required and coordinate with engineering teams.
