Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Critical Site Shift Engineer to join a data centre/critical facility team in London. You will manage MEP assets, perform authorised LV electrical tasks, and ensure service delivery aligns with Cushman & Wakefield/Thomson Reuters processes.

The role requires extensive experience in critical environments, strong communication, and the ability to operate under pressure while coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in critical environments such as banking HQ and data centres.
• LV Authorised Person (bonus)
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
• 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation
• C&G 2391: test and inspection; BS 7671:2001

Responsibilities

• Operate all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre, including MV/LV isolations and operations.
• Ensure Specialist Vendors service visits are completed and inspected; communicate findings.
• Maintain minimum staffing and accurate recording of all completed work orders.
• Prepare and review MOPs, SOPs and EOPs; participate in drills.
• Complete health and safety tasks, RAMs, and risk assessments; drive safe systems of work.
• Manage and document CAFM/CMMS work orders (FAMIS) with time captures and detail.
