Job summary

CBRE Local UK in London is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our facilities team. You will deliver planned maintenance across HV/LV, HVAC, and building services, monitor BMS alarms, and support installation works.

The role involves fault investigation, reporting, and coordinating with Facilities Managers to maintain service levels. An electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, CMMS/BMS experience, and strong customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• Good building services knowledge in critical environments.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Time served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine planned preventative maintenance across HV/LV, plant, HVAC systems.
• Monitor Building Management Systems for running and alarm conditions.
• Attend to air conditioning-related client issues.
• Conduct building walk-rounds, take meter readings, investigate faults.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with installation works and participate in emergency rosters.
• Develop understanding of portfolio buildings and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Promote safe working practices and high quality standards.
