Job summary

Matchtech are recruiting a Civils Supervisor (CSA) for a live data centre build in Blyth, Northumberland. This on-site role will supervise day-to-day civil works on a large-scale project, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You should bring 3–5+ years as Civil Supervisor, CSA data centre experience, ability to read drawings, and a solid H&S focus. This permanent position offers a competitive package and scope to progress within a major data-centre delivery

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a Civil Supervisor / Section Supervisor role.
• Data centre CSA experience is essential.
• Ability to read construction drawings; good setting-out awareness.
• Strong H&S focus and subcontractor control capability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil/groundworks activities on site
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors; track progress and report daily/weekly updates
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, RAMS and project requirements
• Support site QA/QC processes, inspections, ITPs and snag close-out
• Assist with programme coordination and short-term planning
• Maintain subcontractor documentation and site records
• Attend site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Escalate technical, quality or safety concerns to the Construction/Package team
