Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an experienced CSA Construction Manager to lead the Civil, Structural and Architectural package on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, England. You will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and drive programme delivery from construction through to handover, ensuring safety, quality and progress on the programme.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience managing CSA works on major construction projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with experience leading subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Civil, Structural and Architectural works across the project.
• Lead day-to-day site operations and coordinate construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams and daily progress.
• Ensure QA/QC and Health & Safety standards are met.
• Coordinate project programmes with Project Managers, Planners and Design Teams.
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress, manpower and productivity.
• Attend client, coordination and commercial meetings.
• Support commercial teams with variations, reporting and cost control.
• Manage snagging, quality inspections and project handover.

We're recruiting for an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, England.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) package on a flagship mission-critical project, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As CSA Construction Manager, you'll oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and drive programme delivery from construction through to project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Civil, Structural and Architectural works across the project.
• Lead day-to-day site operations and coordinate construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams and daily progress.
• Ensure Health & Safety, QA/QC and project quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate project programmes with Project Managers, Planners and Design Teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress, manpower and productivity across all CSA activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience managing CSA works on major construction projects.
• Strong experience leading subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, QA/QC and Health & Safety.
• Previous experience on Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
