Job summary

Oracle Data Center Operations seeks a hands-on technical writer and process engineer to support escalations, incident response, and operational health across one or more data centers. You will create and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures that drive operational excellence, collaborating with a global, multi-level team to establish scalable processes.

You will analyze workflows, identify gaps, and design new procedures that improve consistency, onboarding speed, and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical expertise in data center operations.
• Experience writing procedures, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Familiar with ITSM and ITIL concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain operational procedures, standards, runbooks, knowledge articles, and engineering documentation.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for global audiences.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Design, document, and implement new operational processes to improve consistency, scalability and readiness.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, program managers and SMEs to capture institutional knowledge.
• Establish documentation standards, governance, and review processes for accuracy and long-term maintainability.
• Lead documentation efforts from incident response, RCAs, and regional deployments.
• Apply ITSM disciplines; ITIL experience preferred.
• Support new region deployments.
