Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Lead Engineer to direct the Operations Site Team and Vendors, ensuring the Data Center operates safely, within SLA, with minimal risk, and that all activities are documented in CMMS. You will supervise daily tasks, approve maintenance work, and drive continuous improvement across building services.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission-critical mechanical and electrical environments.
• Data center experience is essential.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators and cooling systems.
• Recognised electrical training (City and Guilds, etc.).
• Experience in operation of critical building infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Fabric).
• ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience preferred.
• Ability to present information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and permit systems on site.
• Lead response to infrastructure issues and coordinate with Site Engineers and specialists.
• Coordinate incident management and CMMS-based reporting.
• Operate within defined Service Operations processes and site SOPs.
• Oversee supervision of Specialist Service Contractors and inductions.
• Provide support to Data Center and Site Management teams and coordinate coverage.
