Job summary

Salute is a global leader in delivering mission-critical data center services and is seeking a Data Center Engineer to join our team in a high-availability environment. The Technical Manager will oversee technical and operational matters, manage teams, and coordinate with clients to meet requirements.

The role requires hands-on expertise in data centre infrastructure, ITIL processes, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in data centre infrastructure operations.
Experience with live-environment management of critical facilities.
Ability to produce clear technical reports and client presentations.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage technical requirements for consultancy services and project delivery.
Develop and maintain consultancy service frameworks and demand plans.
Define operational playbooks and best practices.
Lead mobilisation planning, staffing, and training.
Define and maintain ITIL-aligned standards and procedures.
Oversee site surveys, incident investigations, and due diligence.
Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
Manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Translate customer goals into technical plans.
Conduct witness testing and demonstrations.
