Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks a Development Project Manager – Q-Systems to lead and manage design, pre-construction and construction activities across multiple data center projects. You will collaborate daily with installation contractors, design consultants, and Operations staff to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires eight+ years in building controls, security, or low voltage systems, strong communication, and travel up to half of the time.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of professional experience in building controls, security, and/or low voltage commercial design and construction practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects on multiple campuses and oversee design/implementation budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Review project design to ensure compliance with QTS standards and Basis of Design documents.
• Oversee commissioning to confirm systems meet design and standards.
• Develop multi-phased site development plans and maintain campus master plans to drive on-time delivery.
