Job summary

Colt Data Centre Services is seeking a Project Manager to deliver capital expansion or new data centre projects across the Colt estate in the United Kingdom. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate internal teams and external project managers and general contractors, and lead project meetings to maintain alignment across stakeholders.

You will drive risk, safety, quality, and cost control, ensuring end-to-end delivery from initiation to closure, in live environments with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects in data centre environments.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and international best practices.
• Strong technical understanding of construction, mechanical and electrical services, BMS, and security installations.
• Experience with structural steel and concrete construction, complex fit-outs, Design & Build.
• Ability to manage scope, cost, program, quality and risks to deliver objectives.
• Experience with financial and program management and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience leading local and remote multi-disciplinary teams in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects within scope, timeframes and budget to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee daily project operations and coordinate with internal/external teams and contractors.
• Organise and lead project meetings and document actions and decisions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
• Support cost-effective and resilient M&E design and installations.
• Monitor progress, prepare status reports, address issues to recover costs or schedules.
• Maintain Risk and Issues Register and ensure safe site operations.
