Job summary

Equans Data Centers in High Wycombe is seeking a Project Manager – Construction to lead the delivery of large-scale data center projects, from planning through completion, with a strong focus on safety, quality and programmes. You will coordinate site teams, oversee groundworks and internal fit-out, manage subcontractors, attend site meetings and report progress, ensuring contractual obligations and best practices are met.

Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction delivery on large projects.
• Ability to develop and maintain project programmes and schedules.
• Strong health and safety focus and quality standards.
• Customer-focused with effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities and ensure progress aligns with project plan.
• Oversee groundworks and internal fit-out activities.
• Chair subcontractor meetings and record actions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Report progress and key metrics to stakeholders and management.
