Job summary

Equans Data Centres is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to lead mechanical scopes on UK data centre projects. You’ll manage a team, drive delivery to schedule, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met across complex site builds.

Strong experience with mechanical services in data centres, plus vendor and client liaison skills, are essential. The role offers a competitive package and clear career progression within a growing business unit.

Qualifications

• Proven people management experience of leading teams.
• Strong mechanical services knowledge and project delivery focus.
• Experience coordinating large-scale data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to ensure work meets quality, environmental, safety standards.
• Provide guidance to achieve operational excellence on projects.
• Coordinate on-site construction, aligning progress with plan.
• Develop and agree electrical submission/approval processes with client and design team.
• Support overall programming and planning of builds.
• Attend site meetings and communicate progress for reports.
• Chair and minute subcontractor meetings.
• Record and report key metrics to team and management.
• Review procedures, best practices and initiatives for operations.
