Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Construction (MOC) – Data Center Operations to lead delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 data center client, interfacing between projects and the business to ensure successful construction management and project closeout.

The role requires staffing and coaching of site managers, oversight of safety, quality and risk, coordination with sales, finance and digital delivery teams, and leadership across multi-project programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years managing construction projects.
• Experience with data centers, industrial or commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes; contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and mitigate risks.
• Experience leading large green-field projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 Data Center client.
• Interface between projects and the business; ensure successful outcomes from construction management to closeout.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost, schedule, and client issues; participate in gate reviews.
• Staffing, coaching, and performance reviews for site managers and teams.
• Collaborate with sales, finance and digital delivery teams on project implementations.
