Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Medical Data Coordinator to support data collection and administration within the Medicine department. The role involves coordinating data submissions to national databases such as MINAP and NICOR, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to meet deadlines and supporting clinical staff with information for patient pathways.

The post holder will be responsible for the prompt collection of complete, accurate and reliable data to the relevant databases within Medicine. These databases currently include MINAP and NICOR. To provide a co-ordinating role for West to ensure compliance with national database submissions and ensuring validation of data quality. In order to contribute to the delivery of a safe and efficient service, the post holder will co-ordinate results and ensure accurate and timely completion of databases and reports to meet national deadlines. The post holder will be required to work closely with identified senior clinical staff and become involved with relevant meetings. In addition the post holder will provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) in order to: Provide a safe and efficient patient pathway and provide information and appropriate support tofamilies and carersThe post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial administrative service. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will join and contribute to a dynamic and busy Medical Team. They will be responsible for the prompt collection of complete, accurate and reliable data to the relevant databases within Medicine. The post holder will be required to work closely with identified senior clinical staff and become involved with relevant meetings. In addition the post holder will provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) in order to: Provide a safe and efficient patient pathway and provide information and appropriate support to families and carers. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
