Morrisons is seeking an Analytics Engineer to turn diverse data from across retail and supply chain into clean, well-documented data models and products on the Google Cloud platform.

You will bridge the gap between data pipelines and business insight, enabling analysts and leaders to make faster, better-informed decisions with robust metadata and governance. Strong SQL, LookML, and data tooling are essential.

Formación

• Experience building and maintaining data models using recognised patterns (Kimball, Inmon, dimensional modelling).
• Hands-on experience building centralised semantic layers, metrics tiers, or business abstraction layers.
• Ability to analyse complex enterprise data structures and map them to business concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain data models and transformations, ensuring documentation and data definitions mirror real-world retail and supply chain processes.
• Translate requirements into robust analytical data models and data products for reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with data consumers and analysts to ensure data quality and governance are embedded.
