Clearly Jobs Ltd. is recruiting an Analytics Engineer to own the modeled data layer, building production data models with dbt and BigQuery to underpin reporting and self-serve analytics.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, analysts and stakeholders to evolve the data warehouse into a scalable global platform, applying best practices in data modelling, quality and documentation, with Looker/LookML oversight.

The role is London hybrid, offering £70k-£80k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering or BI Development.
• Strong SQL skills and production data modeling experience.
• Hands-on dbt experience with models, tests and documentation.
• Production BigQuery experience.
• Python for data tasks and automation.
• Experience with Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Knowledge of Looker / LookML or similar BI platform.
• Version control with Git and modern data development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain staging, mart and analytics models using dbt and BigQuery.
• Develop scalable data models supporting multiple regions and entities.
• Build and maintain data models powering Looker / LookML.
• Implement data quality with dbt testing, monitoring and alerts.
• Work with Data Engineering on upstream dependencies and data contracts.

Analytics Engineer (DBT, GCP, LOOKER)

I am currently recruiting for an Analytics Engineer to join a leading global organisation within their growing Data & Analytics function.

This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the modelled data layer, working with dbt and BigQuery to build the data products that underpin reporting, self-service analytics and data activation across the business.

You will work closely with Data Engineering, analysts and wider stakeholders, helping to evolve the data warehouse into a scalable global platform and shaping best practices around data modelling, quality and documentation.

The Role:

• Design, build and maintain staging, mart and analytics models using dbt and BigQuery
• Develop scalable data models supporting multiple regions and entities
• Build and maintain data models powering Looker / LookML
• Implement data quality through dbt testing, monitoring and alerting

What we're looking for:
