Job summary

BMW Group UK offers a 13-month Placement Year in Farnborough within the Finance/Service Management area. You will gain hands-on experience in data analytics, KPI reporting, and improving processes across in-life products and services.

You will learn to use data visualization tools, develop predictive analytics for targeted customer communications, and collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside the business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required in Business or STEM with a 2:2 or above
• Strong numerical ability
• Intermediate Excel skills are essential
• Experience with Python or data visualization is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support key department and company initiatives
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead projects to deliver quantifiable improvements
• Support KPI reporting and identify trends to drive focus topics
• Work with large data sources and learn data visualization tools
• Help develop predictive analytics for targeted customer communications
• Build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers to optimise service delivery and cost
• Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency
