Job summary
BMW Group UK in Farnborough is offering a 13‑month Data & Analytics placement beginning July 2027. You will join the Centre of Competence to help drive a data‑led transformation across AI governance, data governance and reporting.
During three rotations you’ll learn to define problems, design data solutions and build visualisations with tools such as JIRA and Confluence. You should be studying computer science or mathematics with strong numeracy and stakeholder skills.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in computer science or mathematics with a 2:1 or higher
- Strong A Levels in numerical subjects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in data topics such as data analytics or data science
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and data relations with Data Stewards
- Help define business problems to solve
- Design data solutions leveraging the single source of truth data products
- Develop data visualisations to provide business insights
- Lead strategy to enable AI value across BMW Group UK
- Ensure data quality and governance
- Transform data culture for better data/AI literacy
- Provide guidance on Data & AI Governance to comply with policies
