Job summary

Lely Center Ayr is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to cover Central Scotland. You will develop and maintain relationships with dairy farming customers, identify opportunities for robotic milking, feeding, and farm management solutions, and manage the sales process from enquiry to closing.

You will conduct farm visits, deliver professional presentations of Lely products, work with service and support teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences, and attend agricultural shows and

Qualifications

• Sales experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with good time-management.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing dairy farming customers.
• Identifying opportunities for robotic milking, feeding, manure handling and farm management solutions.
• Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation and closing the sale.
• Conducting farm visits and delivering professional presentations of Lely products and solutions.
• Working closely with our service and farm management support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Attending agricultural shows, open days, demonstrations, and industry events.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments within the dairy sector.
