Job summary

Evans Cycles is seeking a skilled Cycle Technician to join our workshop in the UK. You will repair, service, and inspect bicycles, provide clear repair recommendations, and help customers select parts and upgrades to keep riders confident on the road.

Qualifications

• Skilled in bicycle mechanics and able to repair a wide range of bike types and components.
• Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
• Experience in a workshop environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of bicycle repairs including brake adjustments, gear tuning, wheel truing, drivetrain maintenance, and suspension servicing.
• Assemble new bicycles to manufacturer guidelines and ensure they're safe and ready for sale.
• Conduct service consultations with customers, diagnosing issues, and providing clear repair recommendations and estimates.
• Support customers in selecting parts, upgrades, and accessories for their bikes.
• Perform safety inspections to highlight and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality control so each repair meets safety and service expectations.
• Organise the workshop, manage spare parts, tools, and stock efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering advice.
