Job summary

Burns Sheehan Limited is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its cybersecurity SaaS team in Manchester. You will bridge customers and engineering, supporting integrations, configurations and optimising the platform across web apps, APIs and networks.

This hands-on, customer-facing role offers remote-first flexibility with Manchester-based options, exposure to CDN technologies (Cloudflare, Fastly, AWS CloudFront, Akamai) and close collaboration with senior engineers and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical, customer-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, HTTP, APIs and core networking concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting issues across web apps or cloud-based systems.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Collaborative approach with curiosity to tackle multiple technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical link between customers and internal engineering teams to enable successful integration and ongoing optimization.
• Support customers through technical integrations and optimisations.
• Work with CDN/edge technologies and troubleshoot across web apps, APIs, networks and infrastructure.
• Investigate logs and issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering and Data Science teams to resolve customer problems.
