Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Cyber Security Sales Engineer to join our Cyber Services team. You will partner with customers and the sales organisation to deliver a successful service and help grow our cyber offerings.

You will be the SME for Cyber Services, promote collaboration between sales and services, run joint client calls with the Specialist and Sales teams, demonstrate platforms and run POCs, and create recommended architectures for deployment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Cyber services (including security tech)
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience with security technologies and multiple work streams
• Ability to manage busy environments with several tasks
• Motivation to learn, develop and progress in the role
• Experience leading customers and challenging them positively
• Ability to articulate complex concepts succinctly

Do you have a passion for Cyber Security?

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery and growth of Softcat's Managed Cyber Services, working with customers and sales teams to deliver a successful service and assisting sales.

As Cyber Security Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Representing the Cyber Services Team in all regions
• Being the SME for Cyber Services to both internal and external customers
• Promote collaboration between sales and services
• Running joint client calls with the Specialist and Sales teams
• Demonstrating underlying platforms and running POC's
• Creating recommended architectures for deployment
• Delivering training to sales around the Cyber Services offering.
