Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Cyber Security Sales Engineer to join our Cyber Services team. You will partner with customers and the sales organisation to deliver a successful service and help grow our cyber offerings.

You will be the SME for Cyber Services, promote collaboration between sales and services, run joint client calls with the Specialist and Sales teams, demonstrate platforms and run POCs, and create recommended architectures for deployment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Cyber services (including security tech)
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience with security technologies and multiple work streams
• Ability to manage busy environments with several tasks
• Motivation to learn, develop and progress in the role
• Experience leading customers and challenging them positively
• Ability to articulate complex concepts succinctly

Responsibilities

• Represent the Cyber Services Team in all regions
• Be the SME for Cyber Services to internal and external customers
• Promote collaboration between sales and services
• Run joint client calls with the Specialist and Sales teams
• Demonstrate underlying platforms and run POCs
• Create recommended architectures for deployment
• Deliver training to sales around the Cyber Services offering
