Job description

In this important role, you will provide technical support for the Trust’s network infrastructure, contribute to information assurance and cybersecurity operations, and report to the Cyber Security Manager.

Your Main Duties Will Include
  1. Be responsible for identifying potential vulnerabilities, both internally and externally, and proposing and implementing solutions to prevent information security breaches.
  2. Develop and manage the Trust’s Information Risk Register.
  3. Work as part of a team providing responsive, technical, and mission-critical services to support the design, development, deployment, and security of IT systems.
  4. Undertake configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, recovery, fault resolution, and in-depth technical fault diagnosis and problem solving due to the highly technical nature of this post.
  5. Use extensive knowledge of IT systems to deliver third-line support for all Trust IM&T Services.
  6. Monitor for vulnerabilities, potential attacks, and intrusions to IT infrastructure.
  7. Address security vulnerabilities promptly when threats or breaches are identified.
  8. Maintain current specialist knowledge of professional cybersecurity and technical infrastructure development, including industry-standard methodologies, tools, and techniques.
