Consult is seeking a Security Consultant in a hybrid contract role across UK locations (Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Halifax, Edinburgh). You’ll drive secure design and engineering practices within an agile framework, ensuring risk is understood and mitigated across multiple initiatives.

You will model threats, assess risks, and design secure solutions, communicating complex security concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Dynamic, solution‑oriented, able to work under pressure.
• Broad knowledge of modern enterprise technologies including cloud and AI.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and containerised microservices.
• Familiar with threat modelling frameworks such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security domains in enterprise environments.

Responsabilidades

• Apply Agile methodologies to support engineers and deliver on multiple product initiatives, driving engineering excellence.
• Threat model by deconstructing technical solutions, identifying threats and risks.
• Analyse the risks and benefits of design options to support safe architectural decisions.
• Design secure solutions documenting the key security controls and adhering to security standards.
• Define security testing requirements and assess findings.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences, providing security direction and guidance.
