Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cyber Security Lead to drive our security strategy and governance. You will lead the vulnerability management programme, security operations, and incident response, working closely with the Head of IT Services and stakeholders to align security with business goals.

The role is permanent, full-time in Hockley with hybrid or remote options. We offer a competitive salary of £70,000–£75,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package and

Qualifications

• Extensive senior cyber security experience in engineering, consultancy or security operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender technologies.
• Experience leading certification activities (Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus) and ISO27001.
• Strong governance, risk management and security controls understanding.
• Proven ability to manage vulnerability programmes and security roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security strategy, roadmap and improvement programmes.
• Own governance, policies, standards, risk management and assurance.
• Lead Cyber Essentials certification and ISO27001 efforts.
• Own vulnerability management, risk prioritisation and remediation.
• Provide technical leadership across security technologies and incident response.
• Act as trusted adviser to customers and stakeholders on security improvements.
• Line manage the Cyber Security Engineer and drive continuous improvement.
