Job summary

Seetec is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to join our IT Services team. Based in the United Kingdom with hybrid or remote working options, this permanent full-time role offers 37 hours per week and a salary of £49,000–£52,500.

You will operate, improve and implement security controls across internal and customer environments, using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Huntress and Tenable to detect and respond to threats.

• Must have strong technical security knowledge.
• Analytical skills with ability to assess security risks.
• Proactive approach to solving security problems.
• Able to communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Operate, improve, and implement security controls across internal and customer environments.
• Use security technologies (Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Huntress, Tenable) to detect, investigate and respond to threats.
• Continually enhance the organization's security posture.
• Collaborate with Head of Cyber Security and technical teams on monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance and security projects.
• Help ensure systems remain secure, resilient and compliant.
• Support colleagues and customers with expert security guidance.
