Job summary

Seetec is seeking a Cyber Security Lead for our IT Services team in Hockley, UK. The role combines strategic and hands-on leadership across security strategy, governance, and incident response, guiding teams and stakeholders to reduce risk.

You will work with senior leaders to align security with business objectives, drive vulnerability management, and oversee security operations with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Huntress, and Tenable.

Qualifications

• Experience as cyber security leader at strategy and operational levels.
• Technical knowledge of security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Huntress, Tenable, identity security, cloud security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security strategy and roadmap, vulnerability management, security operations, governance and compliance activities.
• Provide technical leadership across security technologies and incident response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Head of IT Services, technical teams, customers and senior stakeholders to align security with business objectives and reduce risk.
• Lead major security initiatives, advise senior stakeholders, support customer engagements, and conduct complex investigations when required.
• Lead and develop the Cyber Security Engineer role, building capability and maturity across the security function.
• Drive service improvement across cyber security services.

Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experienced cyber security professional with confidence and technical credibility as a security leader
• Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
• Technical knowledge of security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, the Microsoft Defender suite, Huntress, Tenable, identity security, cloud security, and incident response capabilities
