Job summary

Aon plc in London seeks an Associate Director to lead cyber due diligence, post-deal reviews and risk assessments within the AMATS practice. You’ll work with Cyber Solutions specialists to advise on due diligence, integration and transaction-related activities, presenting insights to sponsors and portfolio companies.

Deep cyber expertise across cloud, AI, and regulatory standards is essential, with client-facing experience and a track record in M&A/advisory environments.

Qualifications

• Deep cyber security knowledge across IAM, data security and response.
• Experience mapping controls to frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, ISO 27001, OWASP SAMM).
• Ability to translate cyber risks into business and financial implications.
• Experience in M&A, private equity or transaction advisory settings.
• Ability to develop client proposals and deliver presentations.
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber due diligence, post-deal reviews and remediation programs.
• Collaborate with Cyber Solutions specialists across London/EMEA.
• Support full Cyber M&A sales cycle: pitches, onboarding and relationship building.
• Advise on cyber strategy for due diligence, integrations and carve-outs.
• Present cyber risk insights to sponsors, portfolio companies and clients.
